Delegation of Power of Attorney for the Sale of Chametz - DUE APRIL 18TH
I (we) the undersigned, empower and permit Rabbi Sarit Horwitz to act in my (our) place and stead, and in my (our) behalf to sell all chametz (leaven) and all products containing chametz possessed by me (us) knowingly or unknowingly, as defined by the Torah and Rabbinic law, and to lease all places wherein the above mentioned products owned by me (us) may be found, especially in premises located at:

Rabbi Sarit Horwitz has the full right to sell, lease, rent or sublet the above by such transaction as she deems fit and proper, for such time as she chooses. Rabbi Sarit Horwitz also has the full power of attorney to appoint a substitute in her stead with full power to sell, lease, rent or sublet as provided herein. I (we) understand that I (we) may not eat any chametz after 10:20 am on Monday, April 22nd, 2024, and this contract will take effect at 11:40 am the same day. I (we) further understand that if the buyer does not provide sufficient funds to complete the sale by the end of the holiday, this contract will be null and void at the conclusion of the holiday, and that chametz may again be eaten at 9:25 pm on April 30th. The authority which is hereby given is meant to be in conformity with Jewish law and regulation, and also to be in acceptance with the law of the State of Tennessee and of the United States of America.
