It is with great excitement that I write to you about our upcoming Beth Sholom Women's Retreat, which will be held at Pinecrest Retreat Center, from April 5-7th. Last year, sixty women came together for a weekend of soul-nourishing learning, davening, and connecting with one another. We brought together women from throughout the entire Memphis community for this special time together. I am thrilled to be able to run this event again for a meaningful weekend together.
For more information about the retreat, you can read these Frequently Asked Questions. Registration is open now for the retreat, and I anticipate that we will sell out. We do not want finances to be a barrier for any Beth Sholom member to participate; please be in touch with me if we can make adjustments on the price in a way that would allow for your participation.
I hope that you'll consider joining us! Please reach out to me with any questions at all.
In gratitude and with excitement, Rabbi Sarit
------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's some of what we heard about last year's retreat: "The meditation Shacharit service was really powerful for me. The meditative approach to the service was a different way of entering into prayer that helped me find a headspace for good introspection and calm before the end of the retreat. And, learning that I apparently love to tend bonfires! :)" - Wendy Kleinman
"I can't really pinpoint one specific moment. All of it combined brought us together in a level of intimacy that I believe only women can experience. Peeling back the layers to reveal that there is love, strength and support in the community of women." - Dana Agranov
"I feel that Rabbi Sarit did any amazing job of planning every detail of the weekend. I enjoyed meeting new people, the breakout groups, hikes, meals and of course the bonfire. It felt so good to see the closeness and sincere feeling among the Beth Sholom women." - Sara Kaplan
"Every single moment of the retreat brought me joy." - Sonya Anderson
