Renewal: Women's Rosh Chodesh Group
Rosh Chodesh, the beginning of a new month, has traditionally been considered a women's holiday in the Jewish tradition. We've created a space for women 16+ to learn together, discuss, and share their intention for the month ahead. Led by Rabbi Sarit, we hope you'll be a part of an exciting space for women to study together and explore the themes of the upcoming month.

Lehrhaus at Beth Sholom
The Adult Education Committee is pleased to invite congregants and the broader Jewish community of Memphis to the new "Lehrhaus at Beth Sholom" lecture/discussion series. Lehrhaus at Beth Sholom takes its inspiration from The Free Jewish House of Learning, the school for Jewish studies and adult education founded by Franz Rosenzweig in Frankfurt in 1920. Our series consists of 4-5 evening events over the course of a programming year. During each Lehrhaus evening, one of the many Memphian scholars who work on Jewish-related topics offers some comments and leads a discussion. Lehrhaus events are usually held on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 at Beth Sholom and are followed by a brief reception.

Mystical Readings on the Parshah
Join us in studying a spiritual Hasidic interpretation of the weekly parshah.
   Saturdays, noon-ish, in the library.
